Note: No League on October 9th due to the White Rose/York Pinball Show that weekend. The shop will still be open for free play.

Note: Fri. March 12 & 26 will be used to re-schedule any winter league dates if needed due to inclement weather.

LEAGUE FORMAT

The Goblin Premier League (GPL) is an 8-week season followed by a playoff week.

You play 5 games each Friday night.
You’ll compete as an individual against other players in your group.
Groups are shuffled each week, so you’ll play with different people throughout the season.
Your 2 lowest-scoring weeks are dropped, giving everyone a chance to recover from a bad night or two.
We take a break during the summer because the shop gets too hot for league play.

Note: Since your two lowest scoring weeks are dropped, if you cannot make it for the first week of league, you are welcome to join us on week 2 or 3.

Who Can Join?

Everyone is welcome! Our co-ed league is open to players of all skill levels, from first-timers to seasoned pinball veterans.

Whether you’re looking to improve your game, meet new people, or just have a fun Friday night playing pinball, you’ll fit right in.

Playoffs

Everyone makes the playoffs. Your total points from Weeks 1-8 determine which division you’ll compete in. Depending on the number of players, the top 8 typically qualify for Division A, with everyone else playing in Division B.

Playoffs use a PAPA-style bank format. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in Division A and the Division B overall champion.

Cost

League dues are $25 for the 9-week season. Your dues help cover:

IFPA sanctioning fees
End-of-season pizza party
Miscellaneous club expenses

Payment is made on your first night of league. We do not offer online prepayment.

How to Sign Up

You can preregister through Match Play using the registration link posted. A free Match Play account is required. Preregistration is appreciated so we know how many players to expect, but walk-ins are always welcome.

IFPA Sanctioning

The Goblin Premier League is officially sanctioned by the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA).

The Ball Goblin Pinball Organization and GMS are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful community where everyone can enjoy pinball.

Harassment, discrimination or abuse of other players or machines will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:

Offensive or unwelcome comments
Unwanted physical contact
Not respecting another person’s personal space or boundaries

All players must abide by the GMS Code of Conduct/Guest Guide, IFPA Code of Conduct, and IFPA Diversity & Inclusion Policy.
